The Ferry

-This was one of the drawings I managed to find time to work on during the Langkawi holiday. I managed to nab a quick sketch of a ferry from the jetty.

Au Revoir, Emily

-It's as if the losses just keep on coming. Emily, my faithful Etch-a-Sketch, was finally laid to rest two days ago. She and I have spent uncountable hours of getting to know each other better and just the simple notion of having fun. Among some of the many (attempted) 'drawings' I've done on her were a lion's head (my greatest achievement on her), a cartoon dog, and unforgettably, square people making out. Sure, I didn't become the next Etch-a-Sketchist in the period of time with her, but I was good enough to actually create images with her. All thanks to Emily, who will be deeply missed.

Tickets In My Hand

-First of all, yes, I meant to misspell that word. And yes, the 'Switchfoot Live in KL' concert tickets are in my hands! This puts all doubts of 'did-I-really-book-those-tickets' behind me, and now all that's left to do is to count the days go by. That's 11 days left...

Pack Yer Bags

I'm on holiday! If you wanna put it that way. going off to Genting (again...groan) tonight for a retreat for my youth church's leaders, so there'll be a three-to-four-day-absence of new drawings here! BUT you still can hop over here and 'observe' the drawings and try to find OR come up with a hidden message behind my work. *wink*

And hopefully I can squeeze in a drawing or two while I'm up there.

Until then, bon voyage!

Snapshots Of The Past

-I copied this off a photo of an old camera, and decided to experiment with a different 'style' for the hands. Did I pull it off? Comments welcome.

Fender Stratocaster

-I figured this blog needed an update, so I uploaded a simple piece, my first black and white here, of a Fender Strat. Despite me not playing an instrument, I am still very much interested in guitars and their bodies. (possibly influenced by my many guitar-playing friends)
